Did you know there are over 1,000 varieties of mangos? If you've only bought mangos at the grocery store, chances are, you don't know what you're missing. At Lyons Farms, we grow numerous varieties, some of which were developed by our farm. Our mangos are grown with special care, picked at their peak and shipped directly to your door. Because we only grow varieties with excellent flavor and that are well suited for our south Florida growing conditions, we guarantee the quality of our mangos is bar none to any you've tried. Once you try them, you'll never buy another store-bought mango again!


DO NOT REFRIGERATE YOUR MANGOS BEFORE THEY RIPEN

Your mangos may need a few days to reach their full flavor. They should be soft to the touch or yield to gentle pressure when they are ready to eat. You may also notice a sweet fruity smell at the stem.

The best way to ripen a mango is at room temperature on the kitchen counter. Once fully ripened, your mangos can be refrigerated for a few days or cut into chunks and frozen for up to 6 months, allowing you to enjoy them through the off-season.
